Object Series 2026 | No. 18

$88.00

The Object Series is an exploration of the familiar and the forgotten.

Inspired by everyday objects, forms found in nature, and symbols whose meanings have slowly disappeared from memory, these works consider the way objects can carry stories long after we have forgotten what they once meant.

This piece features a bold, hand-painted black form set against warm vintage-style paper. The ambiguous shape invites interpretation—it might suggest an object, a symbol, a vessel, or something entirely imagined. Rather than defining the form, I wanted to leave space for the viewer to decide what they see.

Painted in oil, each work in the Object Series is created by hand and intentionally retains the subtle variations and marks of the painting process. The restrained palette and graphic form allow the work to feel equally at home in a quiet, collected interior or as part of a larger gallery wall.
